ZWO 2″ Filter Drawer for Nikon Lenses (with male M42 connection for the camera) (one 2" filter holder included)

This ZWO 2-inch Filter Drawer with 29mm thickness has been independently developed by ZWO. It features an M42 * 0.75 male thread on the camera side and a female Nikon type bayonet mount on the lens side, and it is suitable for 2" filters (the filter holder has got an M48 * 0.75 female thread).

The main idea of a filter drawer is to use it with a colour camera where there is usually no need for lots of various filters, usually just a few filters need to be swapped between sessions. One of these would normally be either a UV/IR-cut off filter or a light pollution filter (CLS, UHC etc) and the other filter would be a narrowband, i.e. H-alpha or a Dual or Triple Narrowband filter.

DESCRIPTION AND FEATURES

It’s compatible with all ASI cooled cameras with 17.5mm back focus length such as the ASI1600, ASI294, ASI183, ASI071, ASI533, ASI2600, ASI2400, ASI6200
(except the ASI GT series, like the ASI 1600GT or ASI183GT).

It’s compatible with all ZWO 2” filters, including the 2" duo-band filter, 2" narrowband filters, 2" IR-cut filter, etc.

Below requirements for the filter cell must be met while using a 2” filter from a third-party. (See specifications for the filter cell on the below drawing. )

The double strong magnets create stronger hold, easier installation and pulling out of the filter holder.

The camera side connection is via a M42*0.75 thread. You would also need to use a M54M-M42F (0mm) adapter to connect the filter drawer to a full-frame ZWO camera (i.e. ASI6200MC-PRO or ASI2400MC-PRO)

sidenote... TO THE ATTENTION OF OUR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS!

EU CUSTOMERS: We have temporarily disabled European destinations whilst we adjust our system to the new VAT rules. Hopefully we'll be able to resume shipments to EU countries soon.

USA CUSTOMERS: shipping to the USA is active again, but we request customers to confirm product availability before placing an order! If you are ordering an MGEN-3, no need to check stock, we've got plenty of those. Please note, we will try to avoid sending goods via a postal service due to the huge delays and as DHL Express is more expensive than our system would currently charge for, we might have to charge extra depending on the value and size of the ordered goods.
