TS Optics M63x1 to M48 Adapter (for example for Riccardi APO Reducer)

The adapter allows connecting M48 accessories to the female M63x1 thread as it is used with the Riccardi corrector or many focusers. A 2" filter (with M48 threads on both sides) can be integrated into the system, as a matching filter thread can be found at the telescope side.

  • Telescope side connection thread: M63x1 male
  • 2" Filters can be screwed into the adapter.
  • Camera side connection thread: M48x0.75 male
  • The optical path without male threads is only 3 mm.
  • The adapter allows the camera side connection of M48 accessories to the female M63x1 thread of the Riccardi 0.75x Apo reducer.
  • The adapter is a focal adapter for all focusers with a female M63x1 thread at the eyepiece side, like Starlight 2.5" Feather Touch focusers.


  • Adaption of M48 accessories, like off-axis guiders, extension tubes or camera adapters, to the Riccardi Reducer with the M63 thread.
  • Adaption of camera accessories to focusers with a female M63x1 thread. M48 accessories can be connected to both sides, so, for example, a corrector like the TSFLAT2 can be sunk into the draw tube.
