The TSUNC2-S is a short-built focuser with only 50 mm profile height. This makes it one the most compact focusers among its price range competitors. The short build and the remarkable build-quality make the UNCN2-S an ideal problem solver, when you have only got little space available.

The advantages and features of the TSUNC2-S focuser:

♦ Next to its 2"- and 1,25" ring clamping, the focuser provides a 65-mm male thread for screw-connections. This is primarily important for astrophotography.
♦ The focuser is only 50 mm high. As a result of this you don´t lose valuable optical way and you won´t have a problem with your focus position. The true focuser height with the universal Newton base is 55mm.
♦ Improved ball bearings and a V2A-stainless-steel running-surface provide maximum rigidity and full functionality even after many years, when Aluminium usually becomes brittle.
♦ The 1:10-reduction is top-quality and is also made of V2A and stainless steel.
♦ The draw tube has integrated steel-rails which act as a counter surface to the ball bearings and allow smooth operation
♦ The resistance is adjusted with a friction screw. This makes fixating the draw tube unnecessary, because the focuser remains at its position when the friction is chosen appropriately. Despite that, a fixation screw is included.
♦ The steel parts and gears are designed for long-time use under heavy load, especially for astrophotography. The stainless steel bearings run on special rails, also made of stainless steel. No deformed Aluminium!
♦ The draw tube has interior baffles to enhance contrast
♦ A dedicated cogwheel accepts the optional TSACUMOTORFOK motorfocus. Thanks to the friction clutch you can still operate the focuser manually. The force is transmitted through a micro gear reduction, which guarantees accurate focusing with the motor focus.
