Lacerta Power Splitter deLux
The LACERTA Power Splitter deLux is a power distributor with polarity protection, with 4x fixed (12V, RCA), 2x dimmable (1-12V, RCA) and 1x USB (5V USB) OUTPUTS and EQ8-type INPUT, with slow release 4A fuse.
It has got 7 separate outputs, which can be used for telescope accessories and telescope mounts. It takes power management to the monitoring station, and can supply up to 7 different loads with cables from one supply line.
A standard EQ8 plug with screw-on connection serves as input - so that the cable can not accidentally slip out (tripping in the dark ...).
In addition to the 4 simple 12V RCA outputs there are 2 additional controllable RCA outputs. The voltage can be infinitely adjusted (under load) with a potentiometer from 1V (or below) to 12V (energy-saving PWM control!): Ideal for heating cuffs and tapes, or red background lighting.
Please note, if the dimmable socket is not used, the current supply is blocked. Only after connecting an RCA plug, the voltage is switched on.
On the side there is another output in USB A format with 5V output voltage (max 1A).
The outputs have varying color codes that makes it easier to assign different consumers...
The distributor has a slow-release 4A fuse that does not melt until long-term "high current". It works well with the "EQ8Kab" cable, which has a fuse with a peak of 5A.
4 x 12V (e.g., for MGEN, CCD camera, ...)
2 x 1V to 12V adjustable (PWM, for dew heaters, for example, or FlatFieldBox)
1x USB (5v, 1A for USB focus, for example)
12V DC, EQ8 screw connection
DO NOT FORGET: Order a suitable connecting cable!
