Together with one of our customers we tried these binoculars and compared to other much more expensive models of similar size and were quite surprised by the very good quality of the image, so we think that these represent incredible value. We will certainly keep one for ourselves...

Celestron’s Nature DX 8x56 binoculars are the perfect companion for your next all-day outdoor adventure.  With phase-coated BaK-4 prisms and fully multi-coated optics, Nature DX reveals image detail you won’t find with other entry-level binoculars. A great first step into the world of serious, large-aperture sport optics, the views through Celestron’s 56 mm Nature DX models rival those of more expensive binoculars, at a price to fit your budget.

Sophisticated optics
Nature DX’s high quality BaK-4 prisms are phase coated to increase contrast and resolution. Phase coated prisms, combined with fully multi-coated lenses, provide maximum light transmission through the entire optical path, for brighter images, even in low light conditions.

With large, 56 mm objective lenses, you’ll notice the increased light-gathering abilities of Nature DX 8x56. Enjoy extra time viewing wildlife at dawn and dusk, when it’s too dim to use smaller binoculars. The 8x56 model is a great choice for those new to large-aperture binoculars, since its reduced magnification makes it easier to locate and follow subjects in the field of view. Plus, they’re tripod adaptable to ensure stability during extended viewing sessions.

Binoculars that fit your lifestyle
Waterproof, fogproof, and nitrogen purged, these binoculars can withstand the elements.  A durable rubber armored, polycarbonate housing protects your Nature DX from damage without weighing you down. Twist-up eyecups with multiple stops ensure proper positioning of the eyes, even for eyeglass wearers.

Price is amazing, I had been close to buying these at £130 from elsewhere (rrp is ~£180) when they popped up here at £99. What a deal.
Arrived extremely promptly by Royal Mail.

Build quality seems good, they are sturdy and the rubber like finish is what you would expect. The hinge is stiff but this is good imo (better stiff than loose). Focus wheel is just right. Very deep twists ups which I like.

Image quality is very nice, exceptionally bright and easy to look through. Ideal for my use, birding - although they might be a little heavy if you were carrying them all day.

I cannot be more pleased with the glass, At their rrp they would be good value, at this price they are a steal.

Advantages: Good build quality.
Flip down lens caps - minor but for some reason I did not expect this, but its always a nice thing.
Great optics at this price bracket.
Amazing value at sale price.

Disadvantages: A little heavy for carrying around in the hand but this is true of all 56 binocs.
