BST Explorer - Starguider Super Planetary ED Eyepiece KIT (set of 3 eyepieces)

Grab a bargain! Only £42 unit price when you buy a set of these wonderful eyepieces!

Two elements out of the 6 optical elements are made of ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements to provide excellent sharpness edge-to-edge, low level of chromatic aberration and very well managed astigmatism, making this eyepiece a real competitor to much more expensive eyepieces.

These extremely sharp 60 ° eyepieces have a 16-20 mm eye relief. The contrast is enormous; one can compare them with other planetary eyepieces such as orthos. At the same time these give us larger field of view and more relaxed look for money than a conventional Ortho.

This is the Rolls-Royce version of our range of eyepieces sold under "the Planetary"

- 16 to 20mm eye relief
- Uniformly 60 degree field of view
- True flat field performance
- 5 or 6 lenses in 4 groups
- All lens surfaces are multi-coated  (fully multi coating)
- Rubberised body
- Retractable eyecups

Distortion stays low even with bright (around f/5) telescopes.

These eyepiece are being sold under various brand names like BST Explorer, BST Starguider, Olivon, Astrotech Paradigm
