The ZWO LRGB 31mm filters have been specifically developed for ZWO deep sky imaging cameras like the ASI1600 and feature a small spectral gap to fight light pollution. 

The high quality coating results in very high level of transmission and excellent color separation.

The combined weight of the different colours will be approximately 1:1:1

  • Fine-optically polished to ensure accurate 1/4 wavefront
  • More than 92% transmission at passband
  • Infrared wavelength 700-1100nm cut-off
  • Precision off-band blocking
  • Multi-layers anti-reflection coating
  • Small spectral “gap” to minimize effect of light pollution
  • Highly parfocal – thickness 1.9 +/- 0.03 mm

Please note, 31mm filters are not the same as 1.25" filters. 1.25" filters have a metal cell that provides an approximately 24mm clear aperture , whilst 31mm filters are usually glass-only filters without metal cell and provide about 29mm clear aperture (dependent only on the actual size of the hole on the filter wheel). 31mm filters are usually necessary for faster (small f-ratio) telescopes when used with i.e. ZOW ASI1600MM-C cooled monochrome cameras.
