This adapter allows to use a simple 9x50 straight-through finderscope (like Skywatcher and Celestron) as a guidescope when used with a Lacerta MGEN Autoguider.
Please note it is the straight version of the finderscope that is compatible. With the erect-image version you'd need additional extension to be able to focus...
Might work with other autoguired or guide camera solutions as well. Most likely it'll also work with our range of ZWO ASI120 and ASI130 guide and planetary cameras as well.


It seems that this adapter has got a male M51 thread with 0.75 pitch on one side and a T-thread (M42x0.75) on the other side.

Internal aperture is 38mm
Optical length: 2mm


Unscrew the lens and black threaded ring from the camera. Unscrew the eyepiece from the finderscope (together with the black metal ring that holds it in the end of the finderscope). Screw in the adapter ParFoc50. The larger M51 thread is the correct one for the finderrscope... So that once you've screwed it in you'll end up with a T-thread at the back of the finderscope. Screw in the camera into the adapter's T-thread.  Adjust focus at the front end of the finderscope as necessary. (you'll have to loosen up the locking ring first). Enjoy!
