Filter Adapter with M28.5 female and T2 female Threads
Adaptor with T2 female thread and M28 female thread (1.25" filter thread)
... low profile special adaptation for adaptation of eyepieces with male filter thread to T2
Once you remove their 1.25" barrel many eyepieces have a male 1.25" filter thread (M28). For those eyepieces this adaptor provides an ultra-low profile adaptation to the T2 thread. With its length of only 10mm you can save up to 20mm compared with a classical clamped adaptation using the eyepiece's barrel.
Examples of Use:
-- ultra-low profile adaptation of illuminated reticle eyepieces to off axis guiders - see the image below
-- adaptation of focus adjustment eyepieces to T2 threads - fine-adjustment can be made with T2 extension tubes and a T2 locking ring

How can I find out if my eyepiece is compatible?:
This is fortunately very simple. You only need to unscrew the 1.25" barrel of the eyepiece and try to screw it back on upside down. If it works for at least several turns then the eyepiece is suitable. (If you cannot unscrew the barrel in the first place then of course the eyepiece is not suitable.)
