0.5x focal reduction for wide field video astronomy with C-mount connection and 1.25" nosepiece.
This 0.5x reducer from 365Astronomy doubles the field of view when used with a video camera with C-mount. Many survaillance cameras are being used for live view video astronomy and these usually come with C-mount instead of T-thread, so this reducer might be handy with those cameras.

Can be screwed into a CCD or CMOS surveillance camera that comes with a 1" thread (C-mount thread, "1-32 UN 2A" by ANSI). The overall outer diameter of the reducer is 1.25" (31.7mm).

There is a possibility that it could be used with a microscope as well, but most microscopes come with a smaller photo tube, so if you buy it for a microscope, please check out if it will fit in the imaging tube on the trinocular head.

Available in two versions, with standard 1.25" filter thread (M28.5x0.6) or with C-mount connection for video surveillance cameras.

This version comes with a female M28.5 thread on one side and a male C-mount thread on the other side, so it can be screwed into cameras with C-mount thread and then inserted into a standard 1.25" eyepiece holder barrel of a telescope focuser. It'll also accept standard 1.25" (M28.5x0.6) filters on the telescope side.
