The NEW ZWO ASI034MC is an excellent choice for an affordable planetary camera.  Its long exposure abilities are limited (60 seconds), so if you are looking for an affordable planetary imager that can also serve as a deep sky one shot colour camera as well, you'll be better off with a ZWO ASI120, ASI130 or Moravian Instrument's G0 or G1 cameras.... If you want to replace a modified webcam or a cheaper planetary imager, the ZWO ASI034 is the right camera for you. This NEW version does not come with an AUTOGUIDER PORT, but you can still use it for guiding with the help of the ZWO USBST4 Adapter so you may use it both for imaging or guiding!

With the ZWO ASI034MC camera you can achieve better results than with those beginner cameras. We are not saying that anything is wrong with those cameras like the TSSI or Scopiumcam, but this is just simply better for a still affordable price.
