If you're looking for a dual-purpose telescope appropriate for both terrestrial and celestial viewing, then the AstroMaster Series is for you. Each AstroMaster model is capable of giving correct views of land and sky.

The AstroMaster Series produce bright, clear images of the Moon and planets. It is easy to see the moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn with every one of these fine instruments. For views of the brighter deep space objects like galaxies and nebulae, we recommend the larger aperture and light gathering ability of the Newtonian reflectors.

  • Quick and easy no-tool setup

  • Erect image optics - Ideal for terrestrial and astronomical use

Recommended accessories
An optical finderscope would make it much more comfortable to use the telescope and here are couple of pictures taken by our customer, Neil Loades, who installed a Skywatcher 9x50 erect image finderscope on top of his Astromaster telescope.
Please note, the installation of a "finderscope shoe" that holds the finderscope involves drilling two tiny holes on the tube. This sort of modification of the telescope invalidates the warranty if it's still withing the warranty period. Please contact us if in any doubt whether you should go for such a modification or alternatively you could also consider the extremely popular Telrad finder.
